Now loose upon the land, Olagkoa, the psychic, tentacled monstrosity, is growing in size and power. Having bonded with the fisherman Aedan, it has tapped into arcana, the world’s magic force.

The monster’s goal?

To raise an army of undead and take revenge on the world that imprisoned it.

Desperate to stop it and save their friend, two teams set out in search of answers and weapons. Former kitchen maids Leda and Wynna, along with their egyzemor friend Malwin, the erdi’zal Erling, and Graypaw the cat, head to the Eastern Heights to learn what the winged voladorms know of the creature. Archer Savanah leads her fellow soldiers, Camille and Vyncent, on a quest to find Caster Nastina, the last surviving arcanist.

Meanwhile, blaming himself for its release, swordsman Eris joins up with barmaid Tal on a mission of redemption.

In their way is a devious cult who worships the creature, a manipulative council of merchant heads, the rulers of the warring city’s Zatreus and Ludholm, and groups of undead tracking them.

Will they stop Olagkoa, or will the monster get its army?
